Snake condensation line for drain that's connected to furnace and water heater dripping leg and along with changing out t&p valve on 50 gallons electric water heater
Tony Simpson was just here ago a week ago to replace the water heater. i had made some other recommendations then and I also asked if he had any other issues he needed addressed. he told me no, but he called me back out today to replace his washing machine valves. . I told him I could have done them cheaper with the water heater job if he had told me. they were in the off position, because when turned on, they spray water all over the place. I had to make a trip to Ferguson in beltsville to get the proper sized valves. returned and turned the water off to the house. removed the old hot valve, but the cold valve would not budge. had to spray wd40 on it a couple of times and let it sit and eventually was able to get the cold valve off. installed the new ones and tested. all is ok.
she chose the 3/4 HP. garbage disposal
Customer called due to no hot water.. according to the customer, the gas was not shut off to the house, nor any gas work done. He wanted me to re light the pilot. I told him that if the pilot went out, there is a reason it did. that we just don't relight water heaters, for he would more than likely be calling us right back out. I went online and showed him pics of burner / pilot assemblies. explained to him that years ago, it was a matter of just replacing the thermocouple, but now a days, the pilot assembly has to get replaced. I could tell that the customer does not go in the basement much, because of what I saw and the condition of the basement. layers and layers of dust. weeds and vines growing into the cracks of the basement door. cob webs all over. I told him that the chamber in the water heater would also probably need to be cleaned, and that his water heater does not have a thermal expansion tank. and explained what that is to him. When I added up
